Client Profile: Kaiser Permanente

VIP Audio Visual has been privileged to work with thousands of amazing clients over the years, helping with everything from small boardroom meetings in a hotel to large events in arenas and convention centers for thousands of people. Today we’d like to introduce you to a client we’ve developed a very special partnership with over the years: Kaiser Permanente.

An organization the size of Kaiser runs a nearly constant flow of meetings and events for a variety of purposes. Training, studies, planning meetings and more run pretty much year-round. Kaiser has an outstanding in-house production team that manages and operates most of these events, but when they need an outside partner they turn to VIP Audio Visual.

Our relationship with Kaiser began years ago when they began holding events in a hotel where we provide in-house AV services. Their team handled most of the AV, producing a multi-camera video shoot and handling all of the graphics and audio. We were able to step up and provide a few miscellaneous pieces of equipment as well as providing a liaison between their team and the hotel staff. Over the years as Kaiser came back again and again, our relationship deepened and we began working hand in hand on Kaiser events at the hotel. Our VIP AV team began running the audio and graphics departments for many of their projects, freeing the Kaiser crew to focus on video production.

As their meeting tempo increased, Kaiser’s production department began calling on us to handle events that they couldn’t fit into their workload. Initially these events were run under the oversight of Kaiser event producers, but as our relationship deepened the Kaiser team became more and more comfortable letting us handle their events. Today the VIP Audio Visual team produces and runs dozens of Kaiser programs each year at our hotels, Kaiser facilities, and offsite venues. Our partnership has taken us to hotel ballrooms, Kaiser cafeterias, wineries, restaurants, and party tents on parking garage rooftops.

The in-house AV team at Kaiser is ultimately responsible for the success of their events. The long-term partnership between Kaiser Permanente and VIP Audio Visual provides their team with the security of knowing that we handle their events just like they would – with attention to detail, respect for the client, and a drive to ensure that the program is flawless.
